We encourage you to bring partners, family members or friends to your interview.

Neuropsychological evaluations involve collecting a lot of data in order to make accurate diagnoses and provide you with the best possible treatment recommendations. While we can learn a lot about your functional abilities from testing, it is also helpful to hear the observations of people close to you.
Parking: We have free patient parking in our lot between the Trolley Building and the Laurelhurst Theater. If the lot is full you can find paid parking on the West side of the Trolley Building, and there there is on-street parking off Burnside in the Kerns neighborhood.

Our Story
Dr. Dapolonia grew up in Portland in the Nob Hill neighborhood. He went to undergrad at Portland State University, and grad school at Pacific University in Hillsboro, graduating with a PhD in clinical psychology. While at Pacific University he was lucky enough to do practicum work at Kaiser Permanente and OHSU, and during that training he fell in love with neuropsychology. After an neuropsychology focused internship at The University of Missouri Consortium and post-doc at Neuropsychology and Concussion Management Associates (NCMA) in Maine, he returned home to Portland excited about the opportunity to serve the community where he grew up, and dreaming about the possibility of starting a private clinic.
What’s with the funny name? When Dr. Dapolonia's family on his father’s side first arrived in the United States from Italy over 100 years ago their name was spelled D’Apollonia, which meant From Apollo. As happened with many families arriving at Ellis Island, names were not always entered into the records correctly, and D’Apollonia became Dapolonia. Apollo is of course the Greek God of the Sun, medicine and archery. Because of this mythology, there are lots of medical businesses that use the name Apollo in some way. Dr. Dapolonia always enjoyed backyard archery, and so when thinking of a name for this clinic that might make it easier for folks to find in a search we called it Archer Apollo Neuropsychology.
